I was wondering if someone could help me out. I just bought a set of PP fog lights for my 99sr5 4runner and when I went to connect wires underneath the steering column, they asked for different colored wires than what where there.
Does anyone know which ones I need to tap into.

 

You probably want to install to its own individual switch instead of tapping off of the factory wiring. It might fry the wires with any more current than it was designed to use. Unless a relay is being used... What is the total configuration your going for?

 

if you install it hooked up to an auxiliary fuse block you can run the lights indepent of the factory lights. Ie, you can run the fogs with the lights off, low beam and high beam. plus its easier that way, no splicing into the factory wiring.
