Can turn on dome light at the switch but wont work on door mode. Any door. And are lights on the rear view mirror supposed to turn on with doors ?

 

Depending on what you have the map lights only work with the switch.

The 3 position switch for the dome light might be dirty when set to allow them to light with the door switch .

The door switches might not be working or even hooked up .

 

Which year? Sounds like you are talking about a 89-95. In the 84-88, the door buzzer has the circuit that controls the drivers door. Sometimes people disconnect the door buzzer and dont realize it controls the dome light.
