dash and tail lights quit working

Hello. I just installed an aftermarket stereo in my 1990 pickup today. Radio works fine, but now my dash lights and tail lights quit working. I used the factory radio wiring. When I bought the truck, there was no radio in it, the harness had been cut out, but I tested each wire and know I didn't cross anything. Anyone know what to do to get the lights working again? Thanks

Unless you had the battery disconnected most likely you caused a fuse to open.

When hooking things up.

quite possible you hooked something up wrong and now have a short in the light circuit.

look at your fuses .
