Code 340 CamSensor circuit question.

I've completed a 99 Rav4 3sfe with a 93 5sfe swap and am trying to understand the reason for the P 340 code I get from the obdii diagnostic.
Original wiring harness and according sensors switchs etc.
I had to fab a few things to fit the 5s block or head but everything works to spec as best as I can tell.
I ditched the dizzy from the Camry motor and used the Rav4 coil pack and
on the 5s camshaft I used the 3s cam gear with the 2 tangs (one longer) that pass by the sensor (photo)
My question at this point..
Is there an fsm that describes, shows or references the timing system for a coil pack as opposed to a distributor?
Reading in the DI sec of the 99 rav4 fsm it describes a dizzy with a 34/1 signal and that's what the 93 5s had.

I get a signal on the oscilloscope for both the crank and cam so I'm wondering why the ecu is kicking out the p 340 G circuit. Is it a question of the type, form of the signal that's not up to snuff?
Thanks for reading.

After talking with a local mechanic and his looking up the most common causes of a p 340 being a jumped tooth/ loose timing belt, we opened it back up and😖 yep.. the cam marks are aligned but not quite engaged at tdc. Would engage about 5° atdc.🤦‍♂️

Finally found the fsm section re setting timing with u mark on cam bearing cap..😬
was off one tooth because I wasn't sighting the U but instead just bringing the cam gear marks together rather than fully engaged. 🤞🤞

Once timing was set properly no more codes.. runs great and am very happy.
