Blowing th 7.5 ign fuse
I need some help I have a 1997 toyota tacoma. I went to start it and the battery was dead so I jumped it it fired up no problem. When I went to take the jumper cables off the truck it started running ruff because of the excessively dead battery so immediately I put the positive side off the jumper cable back on the battery and the truck died. Now it won't start and every time I turn the ignition on it blows the 7.5 ignition fuse under the dash. I've tested all the relays and all the fuses and checked all the wiring and the alternator and nothing seems wrong but it's still blowing fuses. I can't get the truck to start. Anybody have any ideas I need help

When you put the positive jumper cable back on did it arc??
My guess is you fried something when you did .
Then because the ignition fuse is open it will not run as that powers the coil in the EFI relay You did check the EFI relay that it pulls in like it should
Now I looked at the 2000 Tacoma yours might be different.
** The ignition fuse also powers some other things as well if your year is the same.
