well in the stores they sell a lot of things that are illegal on the street, that is why they have teh disclaimer on the package that says "for offroad use only". There is allways a right way they can be used to be legal, the stuff is used for show purposes instead of a visability purpose. The stores sell a lot of blue and red lights which is highly illegal, because only emergency vehicles use them, but if the car isn't on the streets then its fine

They actually do sell sirens that just any one can go and buy here in Cali, but they are for "OFF ROAD USE ONLY".....PA systems are the same way, so I just pull off the side of the road to yell at people.

Those are illegal in Oregon!?!?!? This is the same state that a few years back I was in a car audio security place in Medford, and the guy behind the counter saw my California drivers license, and Immediatly went on to show me a police radar jammer. Apparently those are legal there, but the clear blinkers are not......If I was caught with one of those radar jammers here in Cali, I would be arrested on site, and fined, and if they have time, tarred and feathered.

I actually think the jammers are illegal, my buddy works at a stereo store and he was telling me they are, even radar detectors are illegal here, but most of the time cops don't bother with doing anything about it.

Well, this was back in 2003-2004-ish. Radar detectors ARE legal here in Cali, one of the few things that still are legal.

A lot of the laws are dumb, a few years back my friend had a pair of the little window washer lights on her hood and she got white ones bacause she figured they would be legal, but she got pulled over and the cop said they were illegal because you aren't allowed to have another set of head lights and since ther were white they were head lights.

Nice... The cops over here go ape $h|t over those little LED valve stem caps that go on the valve stems of your tires. They don't take kindly to those for some reason. There are still crack dealers, and meth labs all over the place, but the cops pull people over for having a little light the size of a flea on their tires.....No justice.....

well they'd rather bust the people that will pay tickets and give them money, instead of the people that will stay in jail for a couple days and waste money. It really makes no sence.

That's true, but that's not what they're getting paid for. They don't take too kindly to the meth labs around here, though. Most people get some kind of endangerment charges if they are doing it in a town, or city, which is a great thing. Most of those people get locked up long enough to get clean though, maybe knock some sense into them. Usually they get up to 3 to 6 months( minor offense or first offense) to 1-2 years(typical) or as much as 5-10years(large scale, or multiple offenses). That works, but they need more officers enforcing that, then going around parking lots with a ruler to see if your tires stick out too far.

got the lights on. they look GREAT. not blinding bright either. just perfect. i can see SOOO much better than with the stock headlights. dont have the halos hooked up, but i bought a switch and im going to be wiring the halos to the switch sometime soon.. probably sunday. heres a couple pics. let me know if you like. the headlights were too bright for the camera to pick up, so i quickly ran a wire from the halo to the battery just to see what it would look like. it doesnt look right in the pic, but still pretty cool.

Yeah man i got the clear corners and turn signals, but the tails arent out for the second gen unless i want to pay $300 for all clear ones, but I just painted my tail lights all red instead. Go for it man, it is pretty cheap to do and it makes a hell of a differance
