Alternator help plz!

Well added to my collection i have a 92 celica.
today i had electrical issues and my battery couldnt stay charged to keep running, i replaced the battery because whether it was the battery or not i needed a new one mine being 9 yrs old. But i took it to o reillys and they tested it and said there was no current going from my alternator to my battery. Before i spend the money on a new alternator is there anything else that could be stopping the current from charging my battery? thx!
Lena

Yes, I believe there might be. There should be a charge fuse in one of the fuse boxes. Which could be blown. If so, then there's your problem...obviously. Well, the obvious one atleast. Why it would be blown could lead to another less obvious one though.
