85 intermittent wipers into 87 pu

Im putting a tilt steering column from an 85 sr5 runner with Int. wipers into my 87 pu that is solid , with a off-low-high type windshield wiper switch, well my question is do i need more than just the new switch, is there a intermittent module under the dash somewhere (i would have it, i have the whole harness from old vehicle) but i have no idea what it would look like......

ok so after looking threw my chiltons it seems in an 85 truck/runner that there is an optional wiper relay that would control the int function.....the 87 does not show this option......has anyone done this before i think the relay is on the pass side beside the glove box but i am not sure......i will post pics if i figure it all out

On the '85, the wipers will work "normally" with a transplanted column and switch, without the control box/relay (...just no variability). On the '85, there's a (1x3x4", bluish-green) control box/relay which resides next to the ECU. On the '85, there is a small (3 connectors?) wiring harness that patches the control box/relay into the main wiring harness.
Now, the '87 apparently has the function of the control box/relay, incorporated into the switch on the column. You may need to swap the dash wiring harness (...that's a fun exercise!). Or, maybe it's the same wiring harness, and you just need to patch in the control box/relay, like on a '85.
I have the parts, ready to install on my '85. If you need a better description of the harness, give a hollar.
