Question 6 130w lights on a stock 22re?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if I could run 6 130w lights off my stock 22re including head lights if not what would be my options so I could do this? Thanks

holy smokes...trying to out-do the sun?

I dont see why not, as long as you upgrade the battery and alternator?

Just the 6 lights will pull a 65 amp load... so get a big momma battery and a HO alt... and don't let the rpms drop below 3k...

But a reality check: Six 55 watt lights are only 27.5 amp load... a much better number...

With "light" it takes an order of 10 to become twice as bright. So for 55 watts to be doubled it would take 550 watts.

Why do you need that much light, 2 55w lights are really bright..

Out of curiosity, why do you need six? Why not two or three lower watt lights?

PIAA and others produce a heck of alot of light, it may say 55w but in reality due to the bulb you will be cranking out alot more light than you think.

I would mount 2 lights on top and 2 on the bumper, that should sufice for mor than enough. Maybe throw on a rear tractor light for backing up too..

2, 8 inch HID lights would drown out prob all 6 130w lights and 2 HID anf draw WAY LESS power then all those lights.

Right now I have 2 procomp fogs on the front, i plan to put 4 6x9 or 4 5x7 lights up on top. I don't have a 22re but right now i have 100w headlights and 55w fogs with no noticeable change, we'll see when I throw in some 100's or 130's.
