4wd light and reverse lights not working

Hello, on my 89 4runner v6 5 speed the 4wd indicator light and back up lights are not working. Both the indicator switches are in working order. The only thing i noticed is there is not 12v going ro the switches. What can I look for to solve the issue?

thank you

Your checking with the Ignition switch on ??

Have you checked that the fuse is not open??

Poor connections or a bad ground will keep them from working

Maybe you might want some help in person .

The vehicle has two main Fuse boxes one in the engine compartment

The other one on the left side of the cab in front of the door post

The ground for that circuit might be on the door post but that is just a guess .
