I'm having trouble with my 92 pickup with 3vze. It started having an intermittent issue where the truck won't crank, just a click noise. I can bump start the truck on a hill, and the battery tested fine.

Any ideas what this could be? Starter going out possibly?

 

Loose cable, bad connection, bad ignition switch, take your pick.
start by telling us if it's an automatic or a stick, it makes a difference.
if it's a stick make sure it's in neutral, if auto put it in park. Then apply 12 volts to the solenoid contact on the starter (the little wire), if it cranks vigorously it is not the starter.
