Alternators create AC not DC. By that I mean they don't use energy only create it. The Rectifier in the Alternator coverts it back to DC which is used to return charge your battery. Is it possible that there is some kinda of interior light, accessory, stereo system, or a parasitic load that is killing your battery. For 1st there are a few differnt alternators that are used, basically there are 3 major connections in the back of it. R1 terminal goes it ignition, R2 is always live, then you have Positive to battery and Case Ground. Possibly R1 and R2 are crossed and always live R2 is signalling your ignintion thus killing your battery. Whats the cond. of your battery?
