Hi everyone, not sure if I’m posting this on the right spot but
I have a 93 4Runner the speedometer isn’t working it’s electrical driven and so is the tachometer (checked to make sure they matched up) but it’s had a 95 model 3.0 swapped into it (not sure if there’s much difference if any) not to sure on the gearbox and transfer but the plug doesn’t seem to be there for the speed sensor I’ve tried tracing harnesses back through the car and checked ontop on the gearbox but nothing, is there a seperate plug that is suppose to plug into one of these plugs? That’s all I have sitting around the gearbox. The 4wd light also doesn’t work as it seems like a plug is missing from that sensor aswell
is there anywhere I can piggy back off to get a signal if the plug is non existent?
cheers
millsy
So im guessing they’ve used the 93 box and 95 engine and harness? Is there anyway I can splice into this harness and put a sensor connector on to complete the circuit?
