I was wondering if it was possible to install a new style Toyota alarm system on the 89-95 series pickup?

 

Not without some serious wiring changes. The Toyta RS series alarm systems rely on plug and play application. You will have to change many plugs, and figure out the wiring diagrams to get it straight.

IIRC, toyota does/DID make a factory alarm for your truck.

 

be easier to get a basic keyless entry alarm

 

Oh well thanks guys. Ill just stick with my Ford alarm then. I keep breaking the cheap remotes
