Hi.. I'm new here... Im having a problem with my alarm... I drive a 90 toyota 4x4 v6... I have the factory alarm and lately its been pissing me off... I would drive for about 5-10 mins and then suddenly my lights start blinking as if the alarm is going off... I then press the alarm botton and it shuts off... Then 5 mins later, it does it again... Does anyone know how to fix this? Or does anyone know how to remove the alarm...? Its the engine kill type of alarm... Thanks for anyone advice...

 

you should let us konw what kind of factory alarm it is in order to help you they are not all the same from region to region.

pull the fuse fro the alarm. (make sure it start after you pull the fuse) this will help you and you can take it into have it look at. same alarm will work and some do not.you my need to replace the alarm. I have a viper in my 4runner. I love it.
