Alarm Removal

Hey! I just bought this '92 4runner and it has this alarm that will only disarm if i put they keys in the ignition within 15 seconds or it goes off very loudly. Its a 92 i dont need an alarm. How do i go about getting rid of it? I've read to open up the starter and splicing the wire but I was hoping there was an easier way.

I had no tools to do the work so I went over to best buy and did it with the guy who works in the geek squad department. The alarm was factory, but no original on the truck. Followed the wires to the ignition, and by passed the alarm by cutting the wire that went from the ignition to the alarm, back to the starter. Removed the rats nest of wiring, the antenna that went through the back seat back rest. A real pain but a successful removal.
