i originally found the pic on ultimateyota.com and pm'd the guy asking about it. he said it his friend's and that it is indeed the fiberwerx front clip and that http://www.infamousmetalworks.com/ did all the tubing and cage work.

I completely agree.
It would look 10x better without the front flares and if he de-chromed the rear half.

I think it'd look better with fiberglass fenders and the original looking grill.
I don't like the way the newer taco's look. They're like a fullsize truck now, it evolved from being a great light-light duty truck to a medium-light truck

I like it..... But not on the 4runner. Im not a huge fan of the flared front fenders sticking out on a 4runner, because u cant really get the back to match unless u do like custom flares, which would look weird. I think it would look better on the 3rd gen truck with a flared bed

Not my personal taste, honestly made me lose my apetite a little bit. If I need clearance THAT bad I think it's tiem for the sawzall to come out. But if you like it, by all means don't let my opinion keep you from buying it. Not my money and I ain't the one who has to drive it. My .02
