Sorry, if your runnin fron johnny law then your doin something wrong and that's a bad reflection on those of us who enjoy what little open land is left.
Not to say that you can't open it up on public land where it's ok to do so, somebody has got to keep emergency personnel employed.....

you guys are ridiculous. get off the friekin serious train. my mods are in sig. max i have done is 90ish. one time. since then max i have done is like 72. usually 65ish.

in my old beat up stocker 87 4R with stock tires n all i got up to about 100... scared the hell outta me. I am used to that 150-200mph+ feeling. in all kinds of high performance vehicles and motorcycles... but doing 100 in a 4runner is not fun.

'93 single cab no mods per say but it rides on 33x12.5 little tread. Fastest I have gone is about 80....shakes a lot at those speeds I don't think those tie rods and suspension components are made for those speeds with large tires.

I'm not sure what the top speed of a bread truck is but my top speed is just a little below that, stupid drag racing bread truckers...... *laugh*

89 4runner, 22re with 240K, header, Supra intake mod, 285/75/16's, 5.29's, loaded coming up to ND I hit 72mph once, and only once. I did have it up over 100mph when I had the 4.56's and 31's but that was when my muffler (which was apparently plugged full of crap) blew apart on the interstate. Man she ran good all the way to the exhaust shop. Wish I could run straight pipe on it but it'd sound strange.

85 4runner 5speed ,22re with 235/75/15 , at 70 mph my tach reads almost 3k rpm . this rpm/speed calculator http://www.car-videos.net/tools/spee...B1=Recalculate is about right , when i did the calculations on it was right on it said i would be going 70 mph at 2,950 rpm so if its correct than my 4runner should get to 125.8 mph @ 5300 rpm

96 4runner, I hit 114 before the governor kicked in and I couldn't apply throttle until I was down to 80. (speedo goes to 110, but I used my gps)
