What is this piece called? (86ish xtra cab)

I feel stupid for asking this but can't find anything. I have a standard can pickup, 86, but am looking for the plastic piece that covers the cab below the rear window. I noticed the xtra cabs have something for the rear bench. What on earth is this piece called? I try searching for rear seat and rear bench and I just get the seat itself. I'm just looking for the back plate piece. Thanks in advance.

Toyota officially calls that part "TRIM, BACK PANEL".

I am not sure if that really helps much though...

Yeah - I'm trying to find this searching a million different ways. I'm sure it's going to be a difficult piece to find. I just really don't like the bare metal behind the seats. Makes it look unfinished. Any other ideas?

There are no less than three salvage yards in Denver that specialize in Toyota stuff, try yota Jim or yota yard.

Would be nice if I lived even within a days drive of there. Sent them both a message though, fingers crossed. Thanks for the lead.

Might be best off to call Jim is a busy (OLD) guy, and he'll ship parts.

I call mine the rear shelf. From my 36 years of driving an X-cab, I suggest getting some cardboard, make a template of the cab back wall, and make one. It's striaght across the back except for the center hump cutout. If you mount it higher there are additional humps cutouts that will be needed. The stock one has a angle bracket are each end and a single center located leg for support. Use H.D. particle board and make a self that is deeper. as the stock shelf is kind of narrow. I'd make it extend to the door opening edge which would be about 50% deeper than OEM. The OEM unit sits kind of low so the underneath is near useless. I'd mount it 12" off the floor. You can add a wood strip across the front as a fiddle to stop things from rolling off. Cover it in carpet using brush on contact cement. Would be a cheap and easy to build.
