What to do with 4runner?

So i have ran across a 86 4runner with absolutley no rust anywhere!! The owners daughter ran it without oil for some time and one day it eventually shut off while going down the road. So what do you think? Could it be rebuilt or should i plan on a reman. when i make an offer. Red on grey w/ac good body , needs paint. Wher is the best place to buy a reman? Any input would be great. THANKS!!!!

The lower end can be rebuilt, but get a new head. If a 22r(e) is overheated or run really low on oil, it warps or destroys the camshaft support, not to mention the head itself. Have the block magnefluxed too although that should be routinely done on any rebuild job regardless.

Make sure it didn't blow a rod or piston through the side of the motor.

locked

The motor is locked up as i couldnt turn it over manually. So is it worth pulling and rebuilding or are there better (cheaper) options.
