Hi,

I'm working on a VW Tdi swap into non-Toyota but need some help on some Toyota truck trans info. My vehicle (Dodge Raider) uses a version of the toyota a40 series transmission and I'm trying to determine (and find) what bellhousing I need.

I've got an Acme Adapters Toyota Automatic kit for a 22r/re trans and I know the Toyota bellhousing will fit my trans, but I'm having trouble identifying which one. The first one I got was wrong.

Here's what my research has lead me to:

I need a a43de bellhousing with the starter on the right (passenger) side.
I believe i'll find what I need in a 2wd 4cyl auto truck. Also this was used in the early vans 86-89. Is the bolt pattern on the van motor the same as the 22r?

Can anyone confirm (or refute) this for me?

Anyone have the bellhousing I need?
