DAM could one get this gmax eloc ker diff shipped in?? or a factory 1997 22r motor!!!

 

Don't know anything about a Gmax diff...but Toyota has offered an electric locker here in the states since 1995. I have one in my truck http://home.4x4wire.com/adamf/88/elocker.htm

 

you think that is sad? i had an adjustable suspension from TOYOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it came with hard or normal settings, but te previous owner changed them making them obsolete
and some Surfs came with factory lockers from 89! 2nd gen to 4runner owners. and the obvious Diesel with outstanding fuel economy. the list goes on and on. lets just say that the SR5 fully loaded north american 4runner(90-95) was as "loaded" as a BASE Surf (SSRX)

 

An e-locker would be nice, but I wish we had the 4 door pickup in america. Those didn't come to america til when, the late 90s?

 

Wait, Hilux surfs came with Lockers somewhere in the world??? 1st gen's or just the later models??? I would kill to have a factory e-locker in my Runner (and hyes I amware I can swap in the late model TRD locker

 

There're lots of differences between Hiluxes or 4Runners around the world...

I've a '94 4Runner 3.0TD with an 1KZ-T engine. The same years but in RHD (Hilux Surf) came with the 1KZ-TE, with EGR and two exhaust silencers, mine doesn't have EGR and only has one silencer...

Mine didn't have the cupholder from factory, I added it. The same with the rearview mirror with maplights...

Ah! And here in Europe we had Hiluxes with the 90's body but with solid front axle and diesel 2.4 NA engine (2L)... They were sold 'till the 90's:



The axle I've used in my SAS came from one of those of the year 1989.

As for the E-Locker, I haven't seen any here in Europe (In 4Runner's, mine came from a Prado), but the RR DIFF LOCK light is in the dash but unused... My 4Runner came with LSD from the factory, I've yet to see a Spanish 4Runner without rear LSD!
