V6 thirds, aussie. Best oil to run? Synthetic?
just dropped low mileage v6 thirds in front and rear. Also just ordered an aussie for the rear. I think I am going to start running synthetics in the drivetrain. Last 30,000 miles I've been running regular 80w-90 gl5. I thought the transmission was a lost cause, but I think its got some life in it. So i think I amd going to start running synthetic in that and the t case. Is it worth running synthetic in the front diff If I manual hubs?

only you know if it is worth it to you.
I have been told by several oil company reps that synthetic needs changing just as often as regular oils .
with gear oils it was just a pain having different kinds i just buy 85W140 and use it in all the gear boxes.
It works for me.
just like any oil it gets dirty it gets water in from condensation .
The only thing I use is a semi synthetic in my 7.3 foe engine oil.
