ouch...dealer cost is more than i would of expected.

I got an idea....sell them to us at cost and in return you'll make even a better/bigger name for Northridge!

is 5 bucks THAT big of a deal? i would rather pay 5 bucks extra now and ensure that he is able to do it again later.

Not saying its a big deal but just that $50-55 for a shifter is kinda pricey. Either way I'll still buy one and i was only throwing an idea out there that i've seen other venders do before.

Hmm...I just spoke with strap22 about this knob too and he told me he could get it group buy for $53.95. Looks to me the free shipping thing is added into the price...but hell what do I know

So really they're only making $3.95 off them.

I'm only in for one now, as it won't fit on the aftermarket shifter that I'm putting in the car.

I'll send a pm sooner or later.

Yeh but my question is on different items that cost more to ship...is the price jacked up to compensate for the shipping? I don't know...I'm more sold on going with toyota of dallas because they have had SUPERIOR customer service and offered any technical advice i needed.

Pricing / shipping

List price & cost are set by the manufacter. Each dealer sells how they want. I do not mark things up to compensate for shipping. List is what I base my pricing off of, and I am ok with the low margin that comes with selling at volume. When group buys are done, are all the parts shipped to the same adress? I have never done a group buy before.

Not shipped to the same address...its just a commitment from everyone to buy a total of X number of parts at Y price which is reduced because of the high volume you are selling..
