tranny cooler install

okay, so i've got the cooler on but am having one problem.

i can't get teh new lines to fit on the couplings. I'm talking about the ones on 4runner, not the cooler. i have 5/16" tranny cooler hose. i've read the install threads about the tranny coolers.

does anyone have a tip or any advice on how to get these on?

i need to get this done today, i'm supposed to go camping tomorrow.

thanks

I used a needle nosed pliers to spread the rubber end out and put vaseline on the hard cooler line ends..it was a pain.

I'll leave the comments on that to some of the more literate members.

The lines on the 4Runner are actually 10mm, which is close to 3/8". You may get the 5/16' on with some lube, or if not get some 3/8"
