used to be a big chev fan, my 2000 silverado changed that, my buds 05 blazer is falling apart, needs a new trans at 35000km and rattles like............ er umm a 20 yr old toyota. Maybe the big three will finally wake up

Brand new 1980 Chevy Silverado Diesel here.. similar results. My criterion is the number of times you set out to go from point A to point B, and don't make it.

The count for the Chevy was 3 by 1981. My 3 Toyotas, to date, have a total count of zero.

I had an S10 for awhile. $2000 in repairs in 10 months. I drive a Dodge van for work, and it's on it's 3rd starter, and second set of brakes in 55000km. I'll never buy chev/ford/dodge again.
