it's not hard to figure out.
in the form
xxx-yy-Rzz
xxx is the width of the tire in millimeters: 9.5*25.4=241 (so since they round to multiples of 5, that'd be a 240)
yy is the ratio of the sidewall height to the width. (30-15)/2=7.5 7.5/9.5=.789. since they also go in multiples of 5, that's be an 80 series tire
zz is the wheel size = 15
so 30x9.5x15 = 240-80-R15
notice: to uniquely identify a tire it requires three values (there are three degrees of freedom in tire size). the easy way is 30x9.5x15 since the three values are the width, height, and wheel size. but there are many different ways to define three values to uniquely id the wheel. and the width, sidewall ratio, and wheel size is another way.
