Thinking of changing things up a bit.....

I'm thinking of changing things up a bit (on the cheap) with my 4runner and changing the rims out to the spare tire type rim. Most salvage yards around here are asking between $30 to $40 a piece one even as high as $70.

Is that 30 to 40 dollar price too much or is that about the going rate for them?

I've had luck with used tire stores. They take off these rims and install nice aloys. Lots of times they have these sitting around on racks in back and sell them for cheap. I think $15-$20 a piece is decent.

That just sound a little steep to me. If it comes with a decent tire on it, I could see asking that price.

Yep, that would be them.

I thought the price of them was a little steep, I'll continue to search.
