Tacoma propane conversion in Denver - newbie

I'm considering buying a new 4 cyl Tacoma. I'd like to run it on either propane or gas, and there's an outfit named Technocarb that claims its product should do the job. I'm not a mechanic. Does anyone know someone in the Denver area who is skilled enough with Toyotas to look at this job, tell me if it can be done, and would be willing to take it on for the right price? Thanks.

I was under the impression that you can't run propane with the factory computer. I may be wrong.

Post up what you find.

Oh, and welcome!

and since their name has "carb" in it, I wonder if it works on a fuel-injected truck.

You could talk to Mike at Offroad Solutions.

There's an article in this month's 4WD Toyota Owner about 'pane on a carbed truck.
