I had to get my truck smogged yesterday, the first time since numerous performance additions and modifications. I wasn't too nervous, but I felt like I was in a hospital waiting room as I sat in the lobby of the smog shop. I kept looking over into the garage hoping the smog tech wasn't going to walk out looking like a doctor with bad news. Luckily though, it passed, and the only thing he asked me about was that "weird piece of pipe hooked onto my intake" (ISR mod). In true Okie fashion I just said, "Oh, it came that way".

I clicked my heels as I walked out of the shop safe for another 2 years.

my '88 4runner passed smog last week.

i wasn't tooooo concerned... but you never know - ha ha.

i failed last year due to a bad O2 sensor and might be listed as a gross polluter.

i might be tested every year

3rd smog check since I've had her, 1st check since the alterations.

I actually got better readings this time than any of the previous ones
