Stupid of the day

Stupid of the day
award goes to me! Anyway, put my truck back together (took auxiliary air valve off and tested it faulty so now I am saving for enough $$$). So, I took it for a short drive. I was going 15mph and I was about to enter a corner and I punched it and turned my tires. Slid the back end out in the corner so I swung it the other way (this was now after the turn) and it was fine then I wanted to do it again but in the other direction and it slid way too much. I was like facing the curb and still moving diagonally and I hit the curb pretty hard with my front right tire. It was pretty stupid. A couple people were staring at me.
So, flame on or tell your stupid stories (not actually stupid but stupid)

Everyone has a brain fart once in a while, or an accident. Last summer i was camping and my buddys truck was parked in a visitor spot so i had to go move it cuz he was under the influence and we are careful not to drive drunk. Well i got in started it up put it in gear and tried to go but the E-brake was engaged so i tried to get the lever but pulled the hood popper, so i turned it off and got out to slam the hood down, well it was still in D so it started rolling, it went about 10 feet before i got back into the cab and hit the brakes. All and all, it was a lifted single cab gmc, pretty new and nice, wouldnt have been the end of the world if it had rolled down into the lake. But my girl was waiting in the back of my truck so my mind wasnt really on the hole truck moving

Well, this one just happened about 4-5 hours ago...
I went to the boat docks with my girl, just to watch the river and enjoy
the nice evening. We parked my truck and walked down there. Now,
we were the only ones there besdies a few fishermen, and its a county
park so its really a pretty low-risk area. So, I left my windows down.
Well, the sun sets, and we notice a spot light bobbing around up by the
parking lot. Knowing I was the only vehicle there, I jogged up there
to see a Park Ranger with his entire upper body inside my truck.
I walk up to him and ask him what the deal is. He tells me to put my
hands on the tailgate and asks if I have anything sharp on me. He then
asks me if I am aware that I have a firearm in my truck.
Whoooops.....
I had completely forgotten about my Remington 1100 12 ga. that I had laid across the back seat.
So, I had a shotgun in my truck with shells in my
toolbox and the windows down with the truck unlocked.
Go me.... Luckily the Ranger kinda stereotyped and judged by my clothing
style and Hank Jr. CD on the floorboard that I wasn't going to be
'poppin a cap' ya know? Either way, dumb move on my part.

Oh boat ramp times...oh I've got some stories.
Old truck, 86 Ford Ranger 2wd v6, anyway I was backing up to hook up my boat out of a river. And felt my truck get stuck a little in between these concrete slabs. So, I try to get out and the tire spins...i'm like "oh shIIt" so I do it a couple more times and its not moving. So then I get it to red line while spinning a tire and bouncing and then it pops out and I almost run over my brother which I did not see because I was looking at my tach. He yelled at me...so I popped the clutch and left a nice big tire mark all the way up...lesson learned....its not worth your truck to back up a trailer enough for a 250lb boat to get on the trailer when we could have carried it.
It was pretty dumb though.
