Steering wheel thread size?

Well I'm fixing (or attempting to fix) my horn switches. However, I need to remove the steering wheel. I removed the nut but left it on a little ways, then I yanked and pulled and twisted and pushed, and my cousin did too and we can't seem to get the thing to budge. I borrowed a puller, but what size bolts fit the threaded holes on the wheel? Should be the same for all toyota pickups, but its on an 82.

m8x1.25 I believe

I have never had a steering wheel in a Toyota that I could not wiggle off, and I have taken off a few in my day. Wiggle it side to side while pulling back and it will pop off. Be sure to leave the nut on a few threads so you dont smack yourself in the face when it pops free.
