I`m gonna have to do a rebuild on my `85 22r.I`m looking for any info on local machine shops that can do the machining for me.I`m in Greenville SC.I was kinda hoping someone around me has had it done, and can refer me to a reputable machine shop. This is one area I don`t want done wrong. Thanks for any help.

The only one I ever used was Neil's Machine Shop down here in Mount Pleasant, but he died not too long ago and they are parting out all of their equipment. I know there are some quality shops in North Charleston. My dad knows just about all of them. I will call him and ask.

There is a place in Spartanburg where I have some of my transmission parts machined. Really good work. I will have to let you know tomorrow though because I have the contact info in my desk at work.
