It's nonsense, snake oil.
Think about it.......they try to make you believe that the stuff in Slick-50 bonds to your engine parts. How the heck is anything going to bond to engine parts which are already covered in oil?

don't waste you money. Dad used in the early 90's...meh...snake oil.
You are better off using a quality synthetic or a lucas oil additive IMO.
I use royal purple engine oil. When my HG crapped out last year and I took the head off, you could still see the cross hatch pattern from the cylinder hone and ALL my internal parts were super CLEAN.

The OLD formula Slick 50 with moly was some good stuff; I still use some I got back in the early 80's as gun lube/new weapon treatment. Once baked onto a stainless mini-14 my buddy had, we wiped it dry & then went out to the range & fired 1,000 rounds through it. No discernible damage was evident & all the soot & grime just wiped right off. He still has the rifle & it's still like new. We also put it in several engines of varying degrees of worn out'dness & saw improvement in the seat of the pants dyno & the amount of smoke they produced while driving & on cold start-ups.
All that is proof of nothing really; I know what I observed but that was then & this is now....fast forward.
The CURRENT formulation of Slick 50 (since about 1988'ish?) is nothing but teflon (ptfe) & as far as I've seen & read it's nothing but bad news for any engine much more complex than a briggs & stratton lawn mower & I wouldn't put it in there either.
Stick with the synthetic oil & leave the "mechanic in a can" alone.
