calrockx how did you get your towing package so close to your bumper with a body lift. Mine has a big gap from putting on a 2 inche so most of the time I dont even leave it on. I like how you have your bumper gap small to. Looks nice.

i had that same problem with the original towing package. so i took it to my local welding/trailer hitch shop and had em make me a new one. i like it much better because it closes the gap, plus gives me a better departure angle.

i don't remember exactly, but somewhere around 100-150. short of getting a new rear bumper, i felt it was worth it.

thanks.
yeah 4runnerkid, that "toyota" is the FJ part. search the board for "satoshi", or check my site, and you'll find lots of info on that mod.

Here's ours right after buying it about a year ago and before the lift, rims and tires went on. Had 92,510 miles on it when we bought it.

Here's ours after the lift and tires. (not clean)

Awesome! That's a sweet mod. That's funny you got the grille from TAP. I lived very close to it and got a lot of stuff there. Great place.

Jan 2, 2005, the day I got my 1998 4Runner SR5 4wd. Also ten days before my ex-girlfriend wrecked it into a tree.

These are just driveways pics after a claying, sealant, and polish. You may see that I belong to www.Autopia.org.

I can't figure out how to make the images show up without having to click into my photobucket album...
