BLING! Boy do I miss my 4Runner...
Forget waxing the Cruiser... WAY too many scratches and dents!
Kyle-
We need the engine management, some wire, a radiator, and turbo stuff, and then it's assembly time! Jeremy's (been) getting antsy, and I'm there as well. We'll call you when it's serious wrenching time!

Here's the clean rig a while back. Not waxed unfortunately. I was still waiting on my new Porter Cable polisher and stuff from Griots. It's all in now. Just have to find time to wash, clay, polish and wax.

There is a beam that runs behind the front bumper (plastic) and in that beam are some existing holes. I first tried to thread a bolt directly in those holes, but the threads kept collapsing. I ended up running a piece of wire throught the hole and out the end of the beam, attaching it to the threaded end of the bolt (with a washer on it) and pulling it through. This way there is a solid stud sticking out for the brackets to attach to. The just used a piece of 1/4" thick by 1.5" steel and bent it to a 90 degree angle so that it wouldattach to the beam and then stick out through one of the openings in the lower part of the grill. I would like to make new brackets that would dip dow a little so the lights would be more centered in the lower grill or just try some different lights. But it is just a matter of finding the time.

It's not very clean, but it hasn't been much cleaner in a long time. Here's a pic I took this morning. It was just starting to rain when I took it so it's a little bit cleaner now.
