The multi mode auto is the one thing that I envy on my mom's '99 Limited plus I loved the AWD in my Eclipse so I miss the functionality of that feature. I prefer my non-Limited for off roading since I can't imagine taking my mom's off road as it's too nice. She does has the rear locker but the only time it ever gets used is when I test it out every 6 months for her to make sure it still works.

It isn't my ride but I say go 285's! I ran 285's on my 1997 Limited (OEM wheels) with an OME lift and an inside the pack spacer and I ran the Tundra Set-up with and without a Rev-Tek topout. The Tundra definitely rides better and even without the Rev-Tek topout I had very little rubbing even off-road with my swaybar disconnected. All of the rubbing I had was on the front of the flare portion that attached to the bumper under full compression (that was without the Rev-Tek, i didn't disconnect my swaybar after installing the topout before i sold my 4runner). I did have some rubbing under compression on my stock running boards but I ditched those anyway.

I had the slightest rubbing on the UCA as well (with the swaybar disconnected, etc) with 285 Trxus MT's.

On the street or casual trails, or with my swaybar connected I never had any rubbing after removing my running boards.

With the Landcruiser wheels your results may slightly vary due to the width, but they also have less backspacing so it should equally compensate.
