Replacement jack for truck carry 4x4?
I picked up my 1994 Standard Cab 4x4 22re 5 speed a few weeks.
Someone had swiped the jack and associated tools at some previous point.
I picked up a replacement lug wrench/spare tire carrier tool but I'm now looking to carry a jack.
The truck sits on 31" tires and a stock ride height (so far).
What are you folks doing for an aftermarket replacement jack for carrying in your trucks?
I have a non-locking (no key) crappy and poorly painted aluminum toolbox in the bed and had considered a 48" HiLift farm jack.
I'm afraid it might grow legs out of the crappy toolbox.
Any suggestions for behind-the-seat carry?
I can't see a stock scissor jack being of much real use and certainly doesn't warrant the ridiculous prices the OEM ones fetch on eBay.
Thoughts and suggestions?
thx

From: I live in New Tripoli Pa out in the woods
In my Youth I carried a High Lift Jack .
Now since my Off Road days are over I just use a 4ton bottle jack always a few wooden blocks in the vehicle
I guess it depends where you live in the past I carried a floor Jack just thrown in the back.secured with ratchet straps .
I think I changed one tire in the last 20 years that was not at home in the shop .
