removing 3rd row seats in '06 4runner

I am looking to purchase a 4th gen 4runner. Many of the ads I am seeing on Craigslist advertise the 3rd row seat option which I do not have any need for. I realize that these were not designed to be "customer removable", but is it anything more than just unbolting them?? Or are they welded to the frame?? Anyone done it? Does toyota offer a snap in cover for the opening in the plastic side-liner?

Thanks!

In the vehicle do the seats fold for "more" cargo space. Some of them do but it does not give you much cargo space. If they do fold it may make things a little more diffucult.

They fold forward and then swing up to the sides of the vehicle. Kind of like an upside-down gullwing door.

Ok,

Well from what I understand they do come out but it gets a little complicated. I have not done it myself but my brother did. He said it was a pain in the rear but he was successful. I did a little research on the seats and they are bolted on, but you have to be really persuasive to get them off. I myself have worked with my dad who is a master mechanic and taken many bolted seats out and they are not an easy task but they will come out. What gets a little complicated is the folding mechanism but if you look at it good enough you should be able to figure it out. I do have a question for you do you know anything about CB radios?

No problem if you ever have any mechanical questions just send me a message and I can find out for you.

If you do not mind though if you happen to have a friend that knows a thing or two about CB radios could you have them send me something on here?
