rear end died

yea so i was going home after school today, and i was runnin about 55-60 mph and my ring and pinion shatered = ( that sucked

replace it with a stronger set of gears may i suggest a set from yukon gear or motive gear and maybe have them cryod

no im not that stupid...the guy at the shop said that a tooth on the ring gear broke, and then it was all over from there... but its not just the ring and pinion... its the whole rear end!!!!!! housing and all.. so it looks like im just gonna goahead and re-gear and put the good stuff in it, and be about 2k in tha hole

Don't really see many exploded Toyota diffs.

Do you like to do burn outs? Manual or 5 spd. trans.? Diff lock?

I am suprised your guy was able to accurately diagnose a single tooth of the ring gear being damaged if the whole rear end exploded and took out the case too. He must be really good.

this is the only pic i got so far im going to go to the shop tom. and get some more good ones. but somthing good did come out of this.... im gonna re-gear (5.29's) and lockers yay!!!
