Quick self check before dropping big bucks

I have the 86 22re 4x4. Ive been offroading a little bit a couple of times.

Im leaking oil bad from the front passenger side of the engine. when i get done driving i spill about a quart or two of oil. ive had some overheating problems which i though was from a bad thermostat but i think it was just low fluid. replaced thermo, replaced fluid, replaced rad cap. rad might have leaks.

now when i accel i get palpatations in the rev, and the massive oil leak (actually drained the whole thing).

im about to take it in to the shop (after i find one), but i think ill take a once over before it gets too crazy in the cost.

any suggestions with what to check and the difficultly of checking it would be great. thanks guys!

Where exactly on the front passenger side? If you can narrow down where it's coming from it will help. The more specific you get, especially showing that you've put some work into figuring it out, the more help you'll get here. Photos are great, too. That's a ton of oil to be losing, so it should be pretty easy to narrow down the source of the leak by getting out with flashlight and looking around. Same with the coolant leak. Let us know what you find.

I've had a pressure vavle in the oil pump go bad. It would every once and a while blow the seal out on the oil filter. Then it progressed to were it would just blow out the front main seal. Just an idea.
