Question for Black Toyotas
How do you all keep from getting your Black Toyotas from collecting a layer of dust. No matter what wax I use I cant repell any dust. I always see alot of black cars that are very clean but I dont know how they do it. :pat:

I used to have a black 4Runner, plus I live on a dirt road, plus I always parked it outside. I could wash it in the morning and by the afternoon it would look as if it hadnt been washed for months.
I love the way black vehicles look when they are all cleaned and waxed-up, but they are a pain to keep looking clean. If there is a product that keeps dust from accumulating on them, I wanna know about it.
The way I look at it, it's a Toyota. If you dont at least have mud splattered on the bottom 1/2 of the side it just aint right.

I used to wash my truck whenver it showed signs of dirt and dust, being that is black, that was all the time. But, after a while, that got old. I just let it get dirty and wash it when I can. It still looks good even dirty. A black truck can look better dirty much better than a black car.

LOL.......yeah RIGHT !!! I have a black 04 Tacoma. It looks awesome when it IS clean. I have to contend with a LOT of log trucks on the highways where I am [damn things.... I hate'm]
I told the dealer he had to sell it to me to get me to buy a black one. I saved $3,000.00 for that part of the deal.....LOL
But...Black gets washed more than any color there is. Mine gets a wash atleast once a week
