my dads got alot cuz hes a cop car restorer, but online like craigslist, but i think the eisiest way to get one is at the junkyard because the 2 junkyards i go to always have new cop cars almost every week (lol yes i go to the junkyard atleast once a week) no body ever takes the spotlights off the cop cars either

Also take a pic of the hole you drill. I'd be interested to see where exactly you position it.

ok i will, theres two spots im debating wether to drill, its kinda hard to explain, my a-pillar is almost like a v and if i drill on the right of the "v" (on the windsheild side) i think the area is to small and there will barely be any "meat" to hold on the spotlight. but then if i drill on the left of the "v" the spotlight will be sticking way out almost abobe the mirror. ill take pics so you can see what im talkin about.

i see what you're saying.

why not drill right on the "V" ??? i mean i know it might be a little tough, but it would be worth it because then it's centered!

i could do that but the mountaing bracket for the spotlight is for a flat surface, i just got the idea though to trim the bracket so it doesnt look goofy, and then beat the peak of the v flat under the bracket so the bracket sits on there better, and the screws will be held on a bit better. lol thanks camo!!

uhm...pretty sure the "V" is plastic on the inside? lol it's not going to be able to be beaten flat.lol

unless you're talking about the outside of the truck..then it's metal LOL and it will lay flat with enough beating

becareful not to bust your windshield.

lol yeah on the outside, lol i guess i over exxagerated again, i didnt mean beat, lol, i meant kind like "tapping" with a bodywork hammer, i hope i dnt hurt my toyota in the process ...

lol,and the windsheild is already broken in like 30 spots so i coul care less haha

I just put my spotlight in last night... i will never have to use my mag light again! haha! totally unnessasary, totally awesome! Its also good for the people on the road who like to drive on my bumper, then pass me and give me the stink eye... "oops, did I just shine my rediculiously bright light in your eyes?" HAHAH!
