I haven't been on Baker but Silver Lake at the base of the mountain ( Whatcom County Parks http://www.co.whatcom.wa.us/parks/si...silverlake.jsp) is a nice place to stay.

I think you need a trailer, that list keeps getting longer and longer.

yeh, I am currently jobless, homeless, and ironically enough happy. I'm job searching, and house searching. Squamish is close by......climbing if the rain stops.

Well.... its hit or miss for the rain until about middle of July, Even the professional weather guessers have some trouble with it. what kind of work are you looking for, I don't have a job to offer but I get around the Puget Sound from Gravelly Lake (between Ft Lewis and Tacoma) to Bellingham for my regular job and can keep my ears open.
