Off Road Light Mounting Ideas

Hey guys looking for some ideas on what type of light and where to mount offroad lights on a Yakima Load Warrior rack. Thanks in advance! My rack just came in so I am now looking for some lights but have no idea what to buy or where to mount them on the rack. All info is appreciated.

It all depends on how much you want to spend and how handy you are. I believe that there are light mount kits for the load warrior rack. If you can find one then its easy. Come back and tell us your budget and if you could find the light mount kit.

The best way would be to have someone weld on some light tabs. I went the non-perminant way and got some cheap clamps yakima sells that are for their accessories but work well for lights due to how they are mounted. The clamps held up pretty well but would slide w/o any help. My solution was to wrap the cross bar (loadworrier) with electrician's tape and then put the clamps over that. Worked like a charm. If you ever find them starting to sag, put another round of tape on there and you should be good to go. Its definitely the cheapest, probably not the best but it worked! You should be able to get the clamps from any yakima dealer. They look like this.
