Need Help Identifying Coolant Leak

Hey all, first off you all are gods among men. I have learned so much from reading on the pages it's unreal, also saved a lot of coin from being able to do it myself. So thank you.

Now I need some more help. I developed a coolant leak and have traced it back to the general area around the lower hose where it connect to the engine. Originally I thought the leak was coming from the lower hose connection but I'm bettin I need to do the water pump, but hoping against that. Hopefully this picture will help if anyone can identify if the leak is probably the water pump or not. This picture is from under the truck looking up.

Hey, I cant tell much from your photo because of the blur but, heres a way to find out weather or not its the pump. If the pump pulley wobbles when it's running or there's play in it (that means you can wobble it by hand by taking the fan blade in your hand and working it back and forth). Or its leaking from the seep hole on the side of the pump where the shaft goes in (thats where they use to put a grease nipple years ago). And as far as having your thermostat under the bottom hose housing, well, thats a new one on me. There most always under the top hose water neck that attaches to the block, otherwise known as the return hose. But with these new fangled autos who knows.

It looks like either the water pump or the thermostat housing, hard to tell from that pic. Might be worth trying a new gasket on the thermostat, if it works it's a cheap fix.
