Need help diagnosing 96’ Taco issues

Hey guys, been a long time reader but usually stay too busy with work to get involved in discussion. I’m having multiple issues with my 96 3.4. A week or two before Christmas, I started having issues starting the truck. It was turning over weak, but I could usually get it to start. Eventually it went straight to clicking. My Optima red top had a full charge, so I replaced the terminals. As soon as I was done replacing the terminals, it clicked again. I gave the starter a hit and the truck started (with a bit of cranking and giving it some gas). I stopped having issues starting it, and drove a couple of weeks without issue. Last week, the nut that holds the pulley coming out of the power steering pump worked its way off randomly, leading to the belt coming loose. After fixing this, I began to notice that the truck was struggling to start again. My front passenger turn signal went out, I replaced the bulb and got nothing, so I’m still not sure what the issue with that is. I’m in Colorado, and mornings are pretty dang cold. I attributed the starting to the cold temperature, but the last few days it’s been relatively warm (50ish degrees) and it’s starting very sluggish all day long. I’m trying to locate whatever the source issue is before I end up deadlined. Not sure if these are each separate issues that are happening at the same time or indicative of a larger electrical issue.

Ive checked out the hotshot starter mod and a few other things, but I’d rather avoid throwing money at random fixes I may or may not need. Thanks guys
ETA: CCA in Optima read at 940 last night (rated at 800)

288,000 miles. I went through a handful of Advance Auto starters about four years ago, which is what is still in it. Haven’t touched the contacts or plunger. My instinct tells me I should probably suck it up and put an OEM starter in it and be done with it.

What you should do is figure out the problem before changing anything !!
