Meguiars NXT Tech Wax

So I decided to wash and wax the front end of the 07 Camry today. After finding out I had no detailing supplies I hopped into the Blue Bomber (1997 GMC 1500) and coasted along to Auto Zone.... After a few minutes down the cleaning supply isle and trying to help out a elderly gentleman finding what he needed I ended up picking up some Meguiars NXT Tech Wax . The price was something like $16.99, yeah this stuff is not cheap.
Anywho, I talked to "Stosh" for a few moments.... He is a good guy, I use to work with him about 5 years ago.... He rang me up and was cool enough to give me my former "employee price" which was super cool... Said my goodbye's and jumped back into the "Blue Bomber", fired er' up and headed back to the farm.

Well, my total trip only lasted about 20 minutes, but it was good to break away (Not Kelly Clarkston Style) from the house a little bit.... Pulled into the drive, parked the "Blue Bomber" and set up shop.... I had a few bottles of water sitting in the garage that were busted open so I figured no one was going to drink it so threw it on the 07 camry to make her wet....

Rubbed it all over the front real good..... Poured some soap into a cup and grapped a rag and gently went over her really slow making sure to get the entire surface. Got some water and rinsed her off.... Oh yeah, forgot to mention I picked up one of those "Absorber Towels"... It worked great...

So after it was dry, I broke out the wax and it went on really easy. Then followed with a polishing cloth that is 100% cotton (feels like a white tee shirt). The wax polished out pretty easy and the paint felt smooth. The "Dukes" would of slid rght off of this hood.... Daisy would of been impressed for sure.

It seems like a good user friendly wax, check it out if you do not mind spending a little extra money...

I have not tried Klasse, Griots Garage, or Zaiono products yet; but I will as I hear they have good products also.

I use the exact same wax on my truck and it's great - it lasts way longer if you use a orbital buffer - I just bought a cheapee one from Canadian Tire and it works great. It shines great, is easy to work with, and has descent longetivity being synthetic and all. I mainly went with the NXT b/c it is synthetic so it is known to last longer as I wanted the wax mainly for protection reasons and not neccessairly the shine although it sure makes this '93 Truck shine.
