You are ridiculously lucky...

We have to convert them here, if we want one...

And it's a $15,000 at Profits Diesel....

One of my friends is a pilot and is going this way, the other is a Caterer and we're following a Mitsubishi Diesel/ Transmission out of a NPR size and type truck to FzJ80 thread over on Mud...

That thing will be awesome...

1hd-t? H55?

Let me know the MPG you get... And if it's Imperial or SAE gallons.

^^ For the non-metric folks thats ~21 MPG hyw and ~18MPG city

Holy Crap, your in Sudbury? I'll have to keep my eyes open next time I'm around there. Nice acquisition, PLEASE undercoat that thing to fight against what I consider one of the worst salt areas in the world.

It will get two coats a year plus rhino liner on the bottom half of the truck. 35.5x9.5r15(q78-15LT) TSL LTB'S to come once they start making tires again. trail armour and fender flare removal also. Thats just the start.

Nice score on the manual, one day when I'm rich, I want a diesel 80 to replace my diesel HJ60. I don't want a slushbox though. Was it tough to find a H151?

There is one for sale in ottawa ON right now but yes they are very rare. I waited a loooooong time to find a 5 speed stock locked 80 but now it is TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY.

thanks guys, this thing has been EVERYTHING I hoped and more. People should really be outraged that we don't get efficient diesel trucks here! Tows like a dream and amazing crawling power. End of brag fest.

Nice find. I've had my eye out for an FZJ80 for a while now, doubt I'll ever find a manual diesel down here though.

BTW, you can get Q78's now;

This is not a fj80.It is turbodiesel it is HDJ80.If you take care of him that engine will run 1.000.000 km with no big problems.
