Little rant

Well, you all know that elocked rear axle I pickup last month. I already thought of selling it and not bothering to have it installed.
What is wrong with me:confused: I finally get the dang thing and now this.
It's a back and forth battle. Sometimes I say screw it and keep it and other times I just want to sell it.

Do you guys ever get like this when you buy gear/mods for your vehicles?

Same thing goes for getting the elocker guard.

yea. im that way on sliders now. i expected install costs around 100, but so far ive been quoted 225 and 300. thats actually quite a bit more than i paid for the sliders themselves. i cant afford that, i actually couldnt afford the 100, but i thought i would treat myself.

so now i have to either find a buddy whos willing to do it for real cheep, or get good enough at welding to do it myself.

I understand where you are coming from...

Lately it seems like I have been under my 4Runner more times than in it. It's pretty cool though to get your rig back out on the trails after you have spent the time and money and mods... makes the rewards that much sweeter.

If you feel burnt out, just set the parts aside until the temps drop or you have some more motivation. The day you sell it, will be the day you wish you hadn't. Salvage finds like your axle can be hard to come by.
